This doesn't make any sense. For one thing, science ("atheistic" or otherwise) doesn't believe in anything. Science is an institutionalized body of knowledge based on evidence derived from experimentation and observation. Science is not a person that can believe or disbelieve. It can't "make claims".

Secondly, your statement is self-contradictory. If "science" doesn't believe in equal but opposite forces, it can't make the claim that "they cancel out" because, according to your post, it doesn't believe they exist in the first place.
