I am running Windows XP Home. Every time I startup or reboot my PC the screen is resolution is 800x600 pixels. I want my screen resolution to be 1024x768 pixels. So I have to go into Control Panel, Display, and change the screen resolution. How can I set my screen resolution to stay at 1024x768 pixels when I start up or reboot. Thanks fred NJ USA

Make sure you have the latest divers for your video adapter. Also, when you reset the resolution, click "Apply", confirm when prompted, then click "OK", and reboot. The new settings should "Take" if your video adapter is up-to-date and properly configured. If you're still having problems, consult the Help and Support pages of your video adapter's vendor.
