What movies female character had nausea while using a surgical mask?

Do you know what timestamp or which scene patient vomited in her surgical mask and also what year The Verdict has released?

The film is from (I think) 1980 and I haven't the foggiest. It's not really a timestamp. It's the whole point of the lawsuit in the plot, that she's fallen into a coma because of brain damage due to not getting oxygen during surgery.

My recollection is that the actual incident is not shown. The doctor testifies that it happened. The movie is a law thriller.

Yeah, it's never shown. It's just Paul Newman cross-examining the surgeon and getting him to finally admit that the patient threw up in her mask and aspirated, thereby having her oxygen cut off.

I'm pretty sure the only time we see the patient is really briefly, and she's in a hospital bed with tubes everywhere.

There are definitely parts with hyperbole (the hospital essentially acting like the Mafia and threatening Newman), but it's otherwise a decent portrayal of what a small-time torts lawyer with a big case is like.
