Mind the enemy
fighting against me
Rush of blood
Like a hammers thud
Eyes switch sides
Light now blinds
Sweet sounds
Drive the hammer home
Seeking Darkness
Away from it all
relief hoping to find
But elusive as time
Blood rush
Day fades away
The pain stays
Welcome to what a migraine is like
interesting
What an interesting poem. I like the repetative blood rush line, it really helps to keep a rhythm.
I like how the imagery is never the same each time you read it, the reference to something simple like a migrane makes you take a step back and look at it again, differently each time
Yeah, I like how it turned out to be about a migraine...awesome...
Thanks for the comments nice to see what others think
This was the best i could do at tellin what it feels like
