1. Both of these groups are legendary old school R&B groups.
2. Both of these groups each had a massive fan base and a long list of memorable songs.
3. I believe that both of these groups are comparable when comparing their number of hits, music catalog, relevancy, notoriety, and music genre.

1. I am a huge fan of both groups.
2. Both of these groups were at their peak during my youth.
3. Most of their most (known hit songs) were released throughout the 1970s.
4. Some of their hits were released in the 1980s.
5. Some of their (lesser) known songs might have been released in the 1990s or later.
6. Most of their (relevancy) was during the 1970s and 1980s.
7. I did see Earth Wind & Fire in concert in the early 1990s performing their oldies but goodies from the 1970s and 1980s.
8. The leader and founder of the group Maurice White was no longer performing with the group when I saw them due to health reasons.
9. The concert was great. They sounded great. Earth Wind & Fire along with their front man lead singer Phillip Bailey put on a memorable and awesome performance.
10. I remember one time around the early 1990s The OJays were coming to my town for a concert.
11. I was excited to get the chance to see them perform their oldies but goodies songs from the 1970s and 1980s.

14. One side note: I'm probably familiar with virtually all of both of these groups older songs.

16. Another side note: Eddie Levert is probably the most famous member of the Ojays. Eddie Levert has a very powerful strong voice. Eddie levert is definitely a great singer for the OjJays.
17. Walter Williams was actually my favorite singer of the OJays. Walter Williams had a more smooth vocal style.
18. Although the lead parts in The OJays songs were sung by both Eddie Levert and Walter Williams, it seems to me that Walter Williams sung more lead parts than Eddie Levert. I could be wrong about that.
