Are (MAGA republicans) and (Putin Republicans) one of the same?

The Democrats are welcome to stop trying to violate everyone's Second Amendment rights so they can start receiving my votes.

I used to be a Democrat as well. They are now unfortunately leaving me not me leaving them. They have been in the process of doing this for a few years now. I grew up in the 50's & 60's but am far from being a progressive type person. I am much more conservative. I do believe in justice for all and the Constitutional protections and am especially glad Roe v. Wade was overturned as it had nothing to do with the Constitution. How can you protect all under the Constitution but unborn babies are what chopped liver? It was wrong from the beginning. I never supported it nor spoke against it until a few years ago when they started aborting viable fetuses. That is my greatest sin. But I am trying hard to be a better person by speaking out against barbaric practices such as abortion in the last trimester. I also believe in the other nine Amendments in the Bill of Rights. So many have been throwing their Constitutional rights away and as Ben Franklin, said "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty of safety."

I totally agree with you. I have done the same thing. But have you read the Democrat's Party Platform? They have been going downhill for the past decade at least probably longer than that. I'm sure I have not voted for any Democrat in the past 15 years at least probably closer to 20 years. They treated me worse than the other party when they came into power in the office where I had worked for over 20 years. Truly, Democrats are the worst. I would be a Libertarian but there are never any viable candidates and I would hate to give my vote away when I can vote against a certain party in the General Election.

But do you believe in the party platform? That is what I go by.

I'm glad you are laughing, but truly, if you don't have a party to disagree with then why vote? I agree that most elections are rigged. I live in Illinois and they are always rigged. I'm sure I would never have voted for Biden. He is a joke-- So you voted Green. How is that working out for you? Who has been elected in those parties lately if ever. We need to quit wasting our votes. Maybe a third party that everyone would agree to a certain extent with. I say Libertarian because they are supposed to believe in the Constitution. No one in the Democratic Party wants to believe in the Constitution. Actually they would love to do away with it.

I'd rather waste my vote than vote for Joe who ran for president way back when but had to withdraw because he kept plagiarizing famous speeches. Oh yes, I've been around for a little while.
