Facebook a/c locked, go through verification process, link/code does not unlock

First time here, trying to get this onto right forum..

Hiy, I found someone with exact same FB issue on another forum, even though they never received an effective solution only a cross-purposes reply from the admin, so I have pasted their question to save going through whole issue again. It is an exact match for what has happened to me last 72 hours. Facebook account locked, 'suspicious activity' , go through ID verification process 4 times now..process complete, sends me unlock link and code.Does not work, does nothing.
Around and around in the same circle .

Facebook emailed me a link to unlock my account after I verified my ID. But each time I click on the link it goes to the page that I am blocked and I need to do the same procedure with the ID.
I have double checked and the link is correct. I tried from mobile phone and
other device like computer, laptop.

The email also says I can try and login normally and use the supplied code as my password. This just throws the error "Invalid Password".

I have tried to reverify my ID three times and three times I have received new emails with new links, but they still fail as Invalid.

Please can you help me gain access to my account please as I have had the account for years and desperately want to keep it.---------"

yeah, exact same here.Unlock link/code fails.
If the account is now meant to be unlocked, why don't THEY just unlock it, same way they locked it. Instead of fiddling around emailing out link/codes/temp access passwords..which are always problematic!
