Why are some pics gray on timeline

So for the last few days, many posts in my newsfeed from pages I follow are just gray boxes, no pics are showing. For example, I follow People magazine and if they post a story the picture is just a gray box, no actual pictures. I uninstalled Facebook and restarted my phone. My other Facebook account doesn’t have this issue. Any ideas?
