That really is sick.

Any man who's so under endowed that he can have sex with rabbits would have serious issues.

More charges likely - this fella looks like doing real prison time.

I'm sure he'll get all the deviant sex he could wish for.... plus.... at that time.

I hope not.

Further brutalization never did a brute any goddamn good.

Brutalization never does ANYONE any goddamn good - and my hunch is this guy has had a lot of it already.

Monsters generally are not born.

They'll need to separate him from the general population then.

They'd better, indeed.

Mind you, life in protection sucks too.

He prolly belongs in a forensic psychaitric unit, anyway.

Though likely beyond help.

The world sucks, really it does.

I totally agree, Deb. This guy does not belong in prison. He needs deep psychotherapy, probably for the rest of his life.

Oh, i don't know . . . they could reopen the Benthamite panopticon prison on the island in the harbor at Hobart, and throw him in there to pass the rest of his days in complete solitude.

Yeah - but the likely usefulness of that? Hmmmm....

I think he needs prison, too.

Unless he is adjudged to be actually insane (EXTREMELY rare over here), I think he should do time.

NOT to be brutalized, but as a lesson to him - and as a deterrent for others. We need to be taking animal cruelty far more seriously, I believe.

I have been to that prison, Set - shortly before the terrible massacre there - and been in the cells - and the weird little boxes in the chapel - so that prisoners could not see each other when worshipping, just the minister.

VERY eerie place, Port Arthur.

I think they still have a couple of the old panopticon type prisons in New South Wales Set, heck our main labour prison here in South Australia was built using Bentham's ideas (has been slightly upgraded but retains that panopticon look and feel about it).

Hmmm - but they sure can mingle!

Heehee - did you hear about the still that had run for generations in a hollowed out hole at Cadell?

There was a rumour they had it behind the statue of Mary (if ther eis one) in the chapel at Yatala - leading to a bunch of the "heavies" getting religion at one point.

Nope didn't know about the Cadell one - still being minimim security and all it mightn't have done much harm and I suppose if it went for a long time they must have been discreet about it.

Wouldn't want a still at Yatala though, the Corrections people have a tough enough job out there as it is Shocked

Sounds like Springfield, Illinois. There was a 'floating' crap game in the same location for 5 or 6 years.

They ALWAYS have a still at Yatala - well, they did - I ain't been near the place since 1984, when I left Corrections.

The Cadell one had probably been there since pretty soon after the place opened.

No, this kind of behavior is often a prelude to performing such atrocities on humans. Prison is definitely the right place for this freak. More to protect society from than as punishment.

Bear, obviously this guy takes his cartoons way too seriously.

But DD the law doesn't allow preventive detention, well not in a liberal democracy but I agree with your analysis of him. In technical terms he is what we call "one sick puppy". But - and this is a tough one - he does need treatment and hopefully - and I do mean hopefully - a term of imprisonment will see some psychiatric and medical help.

Having said that someone should take to him with a baseball bat for his utter cruelty to defenceless animals. Sorry that last bit sort of slipped out and I'm too damn lazy to edit it.

Okay, I'm conflicted.

(And I did edit it but only for a spelling error Very Happy )

Yeah, I know we can't do preventive detention, but this guy should definitely be punished to the full extent of the law.

How likely is it that he, if imprisoned, would be placed in a psychiatric prison facility? That is where he belongs.
