While you lie sleeping, I watch you breathe
I trace your collarbone lightly with a finger and as you stir, I lean forward.
When you settle, I put my ear against your chest and listen to your heart beat, my hand on your stomach, the sound of your blood moving pulsing and strong against my skin.
In the darkness, we are complete.
There is no boundary that marks where you end and I begin.
Your sleep-filled sighs are mine, they fill my chest and are released through my mouth.
I cover your mouth with mine and return them to you-I watch as you smile.
As dawn draws near, I close my eyes and you open yours.
You watch me sleep.
You cover my mouth with yours, and return my dream-filled sighs to me.
You twine your fingers in my hair
I feel your mouth on my neck and your love in my bones.
There is no boundary that marks where I end and you begin.
You watch as I smile.

It brought me back to the first time I fell in love.
Every part of him a miracle.

Anyone who happens to wonder what it was like the first time i realised I was in love... well there you go in black and white. I couldn't have written it better myself.
