On my computer I have 2 users.
I have all the good stuff - AVG, cwshredder, stinger, norton, ..a few others
as well.
My question is, if I am running the scan on one user, do I need to switch users and scan THAT desktop/settings as well?
Will one full computer scan catch all tracking cookies and other yuckware on both user accounts?

If you are using WinNT or 2000 Pro or XP Pro you should install these sorts of applications from the administrator account (most will require you to!) and then they can work on all of the profiles set up on the machine.

For other versions of Windows it doesn't matter - it works on any/all user logins since there is no real protection between user accounts.

For greatest effect, scan/removal operations in Win2K/XP should be carried out in safe mode, logged on as Administrator.
