i am an individualist
all i do i do it for myself
yeah i am selfish
i always think of myself
i want to be the greatest
i want to be on top
i dont want people to think me bad
so i always do i can if i can
i dont want people to think that i care for myself only
not to think that i am selfish
so i do things for them anytime i can
and i know my individualism is better than some people's socialism
An interesting philosophy.
I don't understand this line though:
"so i always do i can if i can"
Is that a misprint, if not what does it mean?
What would "some people's socialism" look like?
okay
that line should rather be like this
"so i always do whatever, wherever and whenever i can" that's what i meant to say
and some people's socialism would be you know...that socialism.....you live not for yourself but for your fellow beings theory......you share everythig stuffs......
but human beings are not made just that way...althought the theory is good, it is not really applicable .....
i think that's why USSR disintegrates in the end.........
There ain't no such animal as "individualism" when 90 percent of the world population believes in some form of religion.
i aint talking about religion
In my opinion, "people's socialism" can work, and does work. The most fulfilled people I know are people who are living lifestyles that try to love the lives of those around them.
I think one of the failures of the USSR is that it assumed everyone would live for others. That doesn't work; it's nearly impossible to force whole societies to believe and act out selfless-love of those around them. And, the USSR found this out. People find reasons to get out of work because no matter how much effort they put into work they got the same material rewards.
Another reason I think socialism failed is this: I told people to live selfless-lives but took away some of the most logical outlets for selflessness. They destroyed the family, turning children into informants against their parents. They sought to take away any form of higher belief (religion). The destroyed their own people while the powerful lived in relative luxury.
These people played at socialism, they weren't selfless. I think it's up to individuals, it's up to me, to live a selfless life. And then, in turn, I will be more fulfilled and others around me will be happier.
Carry this idea out into the future of possibilities. Let's say everyone starts living selflessly. Then I have 7 billion+ people looking out for me every time we come in contact (sure I'm looking out for those 7 billion+ but whose counting).
Just my thoughts.
