Facebook friends see my comments on public pages

I don’t like that my Facebook friends can see when I comment on a post from a public page that I follow. The thing is some of these friends don’t even follow the page im commenting on yet they can see my comment on it. How do I stop this? Thank you.

They see your comment because it's a public page and not private. If you joined a private group page only members in the group will see your comment not your friends.
