When it happens

when the dream between those eternal days falls upon me
i will become unlifelike thinking in sleep,
but lifelike in dreaming in my retreat
for my delusions are sacrificed, from my eyes, ears, and mind
so that i may experience reality without confusion,
as long as there is one my soul can find
that to enjoy these changes as clear as they are
is being mindfully aware that i too am as they are
focused freely on freedom i will awake
into eternal meditation where there is nothing of me to wake
