I've been thinking about doing a write-up (or even a poem) about Propaganda. I have a couple of old books someone gave me, full of British news sheets and posters on the Boer wars of 1880-1 and 1899-1902, South Africa. I realize that nothing much has changed in the media and I'm wanting to know more. I'm talking about war propaganda, and I'm not coming at it from an accademic, left-wing point of view - I'm coming at it from a working-class, media influenced angle that is in support of young people understanding the un-romantic reality of war.
I have done some study of WWI and there is plenty to be found about WWII:

From this site: Clear Thinking by R W Jepson Appendix 1.
The History Of Propaganda - very intersesting.
I suppose that I'm looking for available sources on the use of propaganda both in history and in current times.
Sites, books, films, anything suggested, appreciated.
