I want to place a link on a webpage that opens the page the user is on in MS Word and if possible, enables 'track changes', so that the user can modify the page (in MS Word) and send it back to me per e-mail so I can adjust the webpage itself.
Does anyone know an easy way to accomplish this?

The parameter to open MS Word ... I know already ... but I'm not sure how to put this parameter behind a link in order to open the application on the user's machine.

Parameter looks like this:
"%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office\Winword.exe"

Help is appreciated VERY much Smile

Browsers launch other apps depending on the default viewer for the file extension.

Any other method of trying to launch the app would be blocked by security settings (for good reason, as we don't want webpages to be able to execute commands on our machines).

As to being able to edit it, they can then do so in word, and send it to you, but you can't do much to facilitate the process without giving them all Word plugins.
