I watched Suspect Zero with Ben Kingsley and The Machinist with Christian Bale. Both very good movies... anybody seen them?
Seen Suspect Zero and wasn't sure about it at first but liked it in the end.
I thought Suspect Zero was predictable and contrived, even though Ben Kingsley is one of my favorite actors. You should see "Sexy Beast". It's a really good movie and he is fantastically manic in it.
Ben Kingsley made the movie. The other guy wasn't to good but Kingsleys character was pretty freaky.
You should watch the Machinist.
It is freaky weird.
Been waiting to see The Machinist for months but never seen it at the cinema or to rent!!
Im a Bale fan and went to see Batman Begins last night. Its pants!!

Aren't all psychological thrillers predictible anymore?
Thanks for the tip. I like "freaky weird".
Bella, come on, no way! But even if they are to some degree predictable, this one was just telegraphing the twist so obviously that it was just annoying to me when it was finally "revealed". Plus, it was a ripoff of some other movie (or movies), which I can't think of right now.
But hey, if you liked it, no skin off my ass...
Bale looks like a Holocaust survivor in the movie... it looks like he literally starved himself for the role.

Have you ever read James Patterson? Or seen Kiss the Girls or Along Came a Spider? They are good books or movies (the books they made into movies)but you know what will happen all along. It's just the way it goes. Very few movies suprise me any more. Maybe because I've seen a lot. Taking Lives was one psychological thriller that just sucked.
He lost 60lbs, a third of his body weight.
Has anybody seen Freeze Frame with Lee Evans?
