Ahem, Jays. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're flat, but hopefully they'll make the wild card.

Frightening isn't it? The thing is I'm a transplant. I was born in New York but came up here at a young age (and left and came back and left and came back again) and never learned to dispose of my pinstripe ways.
When i was just a liddly, i favored the Giants, not because they were my favorite New York ball team, not because they had the best line-up (killer line-up in the '50s, though), not for any sports related reason--i was just a little kid, and seriously thought the players were giants, and considered that to be preeminently sensible recruiting method.
My grandfather, resident of the Bronx, was appalled. He was really angry . . . then he got box seats for two games of the '54 series when New York swept the Indians . . .
heh heh heh.
well Sturgis -- from one transplant to another, welcome to A2k!
(we moved here in '95... i grew up in nyc worshipping the mets
)
Thank you for the welcome Region Philbis. The Mets? Well, if that works for you. I just never liked the ride out on the #7. And why was it Shea Stadium and not Flushing Stadium or Willets Point Stadium?
Yeah, Flushing Stadium has a nice sound to it.
i live in aus.. not many teams here... lol we have a giants but they are for our town not city
