Can anyone name this artist

We went to a local market, there was this painting that we liked and picked it up. We have no clue who the artist is, might be just a local person but we wondered if there was any information out there on them as it is a point of interest when people come in the house and ask who it is and we do not know how to answer, other than where we bought it.
