I checked out the photos. Some really nice and poignant ones.

Halloween in the 1600's sure was scary. I wouldn't want them knocking on my door.

Everything looks better in black and white.

That's a great question, I never thought of that.

I doubt very much if the picture is from the 1600's.

1611 Johannes Kepler (Germany) : The famed astronomer designs a camera obscura made up of a collapsible tent - arguably creating the first portable camera.

1614 Angelo Sala (Italy) : Records the darkening effects of silver nitrate when exposed to sunlight.

I think the first photograph proper was in the 1800's.

Mandy Muden and Jess Robinson, I think, but those links should show their names. Mandy is a comic magician and Jess does comic voice impressions. Really worth a listen to.

I'm notoriously bad at remembering names. In videos like that I often don't really catch the names because my hearing is poor and I know I won't remember anyway.
