Hey, I was just wondering what it would take to become a Technical Writer. I am an English Major. I was wondering if you would need special classes. Would you be able to take classes on the internet? I have other questions, but I would like to get this answered. It would also, be helpful if someone could possibly point me to the right directions.
Thank You!
Leon
I'm not sure, but here is something about about what technical writers actually do:

Thank You! I really appreciate it.
Is there anyone else who would be willing to give out some more advice.
What field/s are you interested in writing about.
Obviously a technical writer in physics needs a background in physics and a technical writer for stem cell research needs....
mostly business and how to's and such
