Jon Rahm was a runaway train on Saturday at Muirfield Village in the third round at the Memorial Tournament, but he won't be afforded the chance to complete a victory. While walking off the course after scoring a par on 18 to take a six-stroke lead into the final round, Rahm was informed by officials that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the positive test, Rahm will be forced to withdraw from the tournament.

CBS Sports will have more on this breaking news shortly.

@Mame,
He was 6 strokes ahead aftet 3 rounds. It makes one wonder if all the spectators are required to have a certificate of vaccination. They often crowd around the players even touching them at times. And they're not wearing masks either.

@coluber2001,
Well, they shouldn't be allowed to crowd or touch them during the pandemic, vaccinated or not. That's infringement and something I would not like at all.
