Moving to another state I used to live in where no family exists

I'm looking to move back south where I used to live. I used to fear highways but now I'm thrilled when I drive. There is some scary things about driving though like breaking down, being mugged, etc. But I also wish life was easier for me. Going through a lot. I only have a couple of siblings that are older and won't help me much. I'm looking to move and am more independent now which I guess is okay. I'm over 37. I don't have much going on in my life. Life isn't as fair as it was as in my teens. I'm starting to really grasp and cope with failures in my life.
