People should be challenged when they propose faulty ideas and claim it to be critical thinking. It IS a discussion forum, sometimes a conversation, but when it's a discussion you should at least entertain the idea that perhaps you are way out in left field regarding certain issues. That's one of my prime arguments against Capitalism. It is the RightWings vehicle for saying corporation are a person in "Citizens United". Supreme Court ruled in Citizens United v. FEC that corporations have First Amendment political rights to buy ads in all American elections.

I'm not a socialist because I believe it lends itself to much to authoritarian rule. Not as much as the fascism of the current rightwing party in the USA, but to much for my desire. Socialism takes all the money for powers and doles out what it wants to at every level of society. Democracy keeps the power out of the singular authoritarian control.

I have solution #2, since, obviously #1 (teaching kids) didn't take... let all the countries blow each other up, let all the dust settle and voila - the coronavirus rules the world.

I don't think there's a viable solution or answer to the systemic racist, elitist, etc. problems. You can't change someone's mind. Educate the young or blow up the world. That's it.
