It seems kneeling on a persons neck is more common than I would have thought:

2016 death:

2019 death

@glitterbag,
Yep, I got your point the first time. Don't engage in sarcasm no matter how much a person avoids a question. Sarcasm is of course, rude and ill mannered.

@glitterbag,
No. That is a different story. People should be challenged if they haven't engaged their critical thinking faculties. This is a discussion forum, not a "I'll go along with whatever you say forum"

Whoever is creating the multiple accounts to thumb posters down, really needs to stop being so obsessed. So what if they have a difference of opinion to you? You're not changing their mind through anonymous down thumbs. The only detriment occurs to your own mind (subconsciously).

@glitterbag,
Would you care to post some quotes where the poster I engaged with showed critical thinking for his solution? Because if you can't see any, then what is the point of the 'perhaps you are way out in left field' comment?

As far as I can see, only the barest surface was scratched, with almost no articulated thought to how it would actually work. Lots of "take money from somewhere" - with the only concrete suggestion that was offered not being workable.

That aside, I've never been worried what 'side' people see me as being on.

I don't mind Edgar's idea as a concept. It just seems to me to be financially too difficult. It's fine to say 'it's not too difficult / leave that to us / etc'...but that isn't critical thinking....just passing the responsibility for critical thinking to someone else.
