Would you care to post some quotes where the poster I engaged with showed critical thinking for his solution? Because if you can't see any, then what is the point of the '
perhaps you are way out in left field' comment?
As far as I can see, only the barest surface was scratched, with almost no articulated thought to how it would actually work. Lots of "take money from
somewhere" - with the only concrete suggestion that was offered not being workable.
That aside, I've never been worried what 'side' people see me as being on.
I don't mind Edgar's idea as a concept. It just seems to me to be financially too difficult. It's fine to say 'it's not too difficult / leave that to us / etc'...but that isn't critical thinking....just passing the responsibility for critical thinking to someone else.
