How stupid is Trump?

@hingehead,
A person making a claim on a public forum must be prepared to say a word or two to back up his claim, rather than whine about how the request is unfair. I can hardly post that the Moon is made of cheese and then when asked to back it up, refer someone to a book or even a magazine article. A person making a claim can't back it up by asking someone to read a hundred thousand word essay which may or may not contain passages which back up his claim. Tell me in a couple of sentences in your own words how Trump has behaved in a kleptocratic manner. If your claim isn't absolutely full of crap, that should only take you a minute or two.

@Brandon9000,
Tell me you didn't read my post without saying it.

You're such a douchebag.

@Wilso,

Remember how part of the pretext for America invading Iraq was because they treat women as second class citizens?

Never heard a thing about that.
It was always about the imaginary weapons of mass destruction propaganda.

Historically, Americans aren't in the slightest interested in what is happening in other nations,
as long as it's not a threat to what's happening at home.

AMEN!

The entire of the MAGA element is doing what Brandon is doing. It really does not make sense to play their game. The lesson you are attempting to teach can only be learned by experience. I think the MAGA crew will get more than enough of that...although some, like Brandon perhaps, will still not see the obvious.

Unfortunately, it is more likely that the United States of America will be six feet under before the MAGA buffoon.

I am disconsolate because I will be living out the next four of my final years with that disgusting clown in the White House.

@hingehead,
I have no idea why Pinterest and A2K keep cropping this image - so here's the text for assistive readers:

@hingehead,
Clearly you are unable to give one example of how Trump has behaved in a kleptocratic manner. You love to throw around sweeping accusations, but run when asked to support them. You made a claim. You can't give a single example. You lose the argument.

You do not decide unilaterally who wins or loses an argument, Brandon. At best, you get a vote. In this case, I vote for Hinge...effectively cancelling your vote out.

So...you have made the claim that Hingehead has lost the argument. Please support that claim.

Time isn't alone in recognizing Trump's accomplishments.

Satire from The Borowitz Report (currently amended)

Trump Named Person of the Year by Popular Sociopath Magazine
By Andy Borowitz, December 12, 2024

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—For the third year in a row, Donald J. Trump has been named Person of the Year by the magazine Popular Sociopath, the publication announced on Thursday.

“Once a year, we at Popular Sociopath recognize the person who best epitomizes sociopathic-personality disorder, which manifests in antisocial behavior and a total absence of conscience and concern for others,” Harland Dorrinson, the magazine’s editor, said. “We are delighted to bestow this honor, once again, on Donald J. Trump.”

Dorrinson said that Trump bested a daunting roster of competitors for the title, including the vice president-elect JD Vance and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

“Honestly, though, it wasn’t close,” the editor said.

When asked if he had reached out to Vance since surpassing him for the magazine’s honor, Trump told reporters, “Why would I do that? I don’t care what he thinks or feels. This is all about me. What a stupid question. You’re worthless.”

Am I ashamed to be in American now? I am ashamed, and we should all be ashamed of ourselves, and it helps because the man who won the presidential election has none of his own, has no shame at all. He walks around bereft of any pants, bare-assed, lacking embarrassment and thinks he's setting a bold trend. It's embarrassing to me and anybody who is an American citizen, and it brings shame to all of us.

Trump has yet to take office, and he is already acting like a fool, a drunk, a drunken fool, and a madman. He has no control over what he says as if he lacks any inhibition any common sense to filter out what he says. His Tourette-like Syndrome doesn't just apply to his verbalizations, it applies to his ideation. He really thinks he's being innovative with great plans that make him appear an exceptional leader. But the only people he is appealing to are the worst of the worst, the authoritarians, the dictators, the mad men and mass murderers, such as Putin, Kim Jung Un, Viktor Orban, and Assad, but I suspect they also think of him as a fool.

Who in their right mind would insult our friends and allies and cozy up to the worst authoritarians? Who out of hand would insult Canada, our great neighbor to the north, or Denmark, or Panama?

Who in their right mind, the same person who campaigned against inflation, would brag about imposing huge tariffs that would cause inflation and cause a huge burden on the American people. Who in their right mind would talk about deporting millions of undocumented workers who we depend on to bring food to our table and the loss of which would mean empty shelves in the produce section of our stores?

Any sensible politician waking up one morning and realizing that in a drunken stupor he had attacked Canada, Denmark, and Panama and had made wild claims about tariffs and deporting millions of people that would destroy the American economy would either immediately offer an effusive, public apology or just outright resign in shame. Not Trump. He lacks shame, and his hysterical verbal outpourings are typical of his deranged consciousness.

@coluber2001,
Well said, coluber. And somehow, the knowledge that Musk and Vance are on hand in case he keels over doesn't give me a good feeling.

@Region Philbis,
I imagine some very elaborate, continent-wide, gerrymandering would be cleverly employed to get the desired result!

Figures.

Remember, at one point very early in his first candidacy, Trump strongly advocated for eliminating the Electoral College.

Very bright guy, that Trump.
