Trump's attacks on the military.

For a country that reveres its military, and a party that relies in its constituency so much, this seems so stupid and arrogant.

Most of the vitriol is aimed at LGBT and non white servicepeople, but the attacks on broad military infrastructure are not uncommon.

What springs to mind is the bonespurs draftdodger's disgraceful treatment of the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln, dismissing concerns about conditions and Trump himself saying they had not been at sea for long enough.

What prompted this thread was the news that ICE have just arrested the father of one of the sailors currently serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln, Joshua Aviles.

And as Trump's presidency is such an omnishambles perhaps one dedicated to this will stop it drowning in all the other disasters.
