Workers deploy racing against the clock,
"8:15, oh gosh! I'm going to be late!"
Darkness...
"Oh gross! do the buses have to smell like this?"
Bang...darkness...
"Maybe I'll make a special dinner tonight...."
Crash.... darkness....
"I shouldn't have left angry with my wife, I'll call her at work and tell her how much I love her."
Boom.... darkness....
"Where are we? Everything is in an envelope of fog?"
"You are in heaven my children."
"You are here because, some of your siblings have done a terrible thing to you."
"What did we do to deserve such a fate?"
"Nothing my children...everything will be ok. You are with me now."
"But, what about our families and friends?"
"Don't worry, I'll take care of them. Just rest and find peace. I know it's hard."
Lex, is this somehow about the carnage in Iraq, or your own fears (or/or?)
Just curious
Very controversial! I love how you have managed to take characters and taken their last living thoughts and replicated them realistically into emotions ! Beautiful! Its an issue which is has been touched upon, her in London, after the bombings on the London Underground/Subway, which I plan to travel on tonight to show these terrorists that they will not foil the innocent. peace will prevail and you have displayed this beautifully, god bless you!

This was actually about the tragedy in London, but as well as the thoughts of innocent people killed timelessly everyday within the world we face.
WaterHalo, I'm glad I've inspired the thoughts of comforting peace. May God protect you and others who live in London from such horrible attacks.
