The twenty seventh book in a series, or the sixty sixth in a larger version, sounds like it would be very useful to participants in a quiz - name it?
@sophocles,
It sounds like some sort of Encyclopedia, I’ve had at look at the wiki page for Britannica but I can’t get the numbers to match up.
@sophocles,
I would think it refers to the bible.
There are 27 books in the NT , and 39 in the OT, giving 66 all together.
The 66th is Revelations.
@cherrie,
I don’t know why you’ve been voted down. There’s some real sad bits out there. They must be jealous. I am, I think your ability this crosswords is ve4y impressive. I’ve voted you up.
@izzythepush,
Thank you. I also don't understand the down thumbs but they seem to be a bit random these days.
@cherrie,
They do, we seem to have had an influx of far right posters who downvote people not in the same regardless of whether or not they contribute to political threads.
Hopefully it will die down after the election.
@sophocles,
Look at the next question on the quiz!

I was not the person who voted your post down...
...but your comment "The 66th is Revelations" is incorrect. If you gave it as an answer on Jeopardy, Alex Trebek would call it incorrect...and has at least twice that I remember.
@Frank Apisa,
You're right, apparently there's not supposed to be an S at the end.
I didn't know that, I always thought it was Revelations.

So did I until I saw that episode of Jeopardy!
@Frank Apisa,
That’s one hell of a revelation Frank.
I’m so sorry.
