New Englanders, come!

I just took a Boston.com quiz about New England eateries. I answered 5 or 6 out of 30 correctly (mostly by accident). My feeling is that hardly anyone could possibly do well on this unless they take it a second time. Try it and let me know how you did. Ta!

Fman - WTF? How did you do that? I am usually a pretty good guesser, too.

Tsar - Ashland? How is it I know so few towns in my home state?

@littlek,
Middlesex County, MA. Ashland borders Framingham, Hopkinton, and Holliston.

Not too far from Natick, Milford, and Marlborough.

@littlek,
I have no idea, I busted on all the local specialty questions, I aced all the MAine questions and hit the rest by luck only (Sometimes the name Id choose for a dish or a local just sopunded more realistric and often that was the case>

Tsar - 4 towns away from where I grew up (Acton). I've probably driven through it. But, I didn't know where it was!

Fman, I couldn't even nail the MA venues....

@littlek,
Sleepy bedroom town ... or at least it was when I lived there. Not too hard to miss.

Although I am not originally from New England, I have lived here more than half my life. My score was 47% or an inflated 24,405,000.

Frankly, I never heard of a few of the towns and some of the restaurants and more than one of the dishes.

@littlek,
I scored around 93% but I grew up and lived in greater Boston and Middlesex County until '99. Mainly lived on in north shore and west of Boston in the inner I-495 belts. I've been to a few of the eateries and used reasoned guesswork at the rest. I've worked in, driven to, delivered to or cycled around most of southern new England and coastal Maine. That was a fun quiz. I think I'm currently 10th on their list or some such thing.

@littlek,
I think I got 8 - again most due to luck - the last one - the timer didn't give you enough time to read all the choices (the choices were long and hard to read) so I ran out of time.

@Linkat,
I found it hard to concentrate as well. The clues were wordy.

@tsarstepan,
Helps once you know the answers! My question is how the h*ll did you not get 100% after seeing the answers - are they different questions?
