Well thank gawd for the balance of power, the checks and balances: our American Patriot Forefathers really thought this Democratic Republic out very well. The SCOTUS will never ever "take over", they make judgement as to the constitutionality of law, they don't enforce it. Congress can write laws that can meet a test of Constitutionally.
You don't really
see a scenario where the SCOTUS will take over, do ya? Hell its your packed court. Fact is an honest conservative with a sincere love of the Constitution: Roberts, Kennedy, the late Alito vote quite often with the 'liberals' and against Trump quite a lot. Kavenaugh voted against Trump, maybe Brett's concerned about having a legacy.
The pendulum is coming back our way.
