I right click a photo from the web.
I select the "properties" option.
The next box shows among other things the address of the photo. I want to copy and paste
it but the options in the tool bar at the top of my screen including the "edit" button
have turned grey from black and are not selectable. Is there another way to copy and paste
the info shown in "properties" box?

You cant highlight and right click to copy?

It could be a protected picture but, mostly you cant bring up properties if so, in general Ive found at least. Is it a copywrited picture perhaps?

I don't quite understand (being quite the innocent when it comes to computers). I don't want to copy the picture just it's web location/address so I can I paste it between the IMG icons here for example.

When you bring up the properties box and it shows the address, you should be able to highlight the area...
put your cursor at the end, left click and drag,
when the address is completely highlighted, you should be able to right click and copy.
