You could say that considering they’re the current champions, which may account for why the OP supports them.

I might be being a bit harsh.

It does piss me off that all our best players, the ones we developed or brought into the country all go on to win the league at Liverpool.

I didn’t know what you meant by “Elizabeths” I guess it’s a rough translation of dead presidents. We don’t have an equivalent phrase over here.

The common slang term is quid, but other than that our terms are more generic, dosh, lolly, spondoolicks, etc. We have terms for certain amounts pony, £25, monkey £500, but nothing like dead presidents.

Heh, I was going for the equivalent of the term here, "It's all about the Benjamins," in reference to the hundred dollar bills with the image of Benjamin Franklin, who oddly enough wasn't a president. E II is on the 50 pound note, the highest denomination you all regularly use, right?

In the NFL there are salary caps that keep higher income teams from hording the high demand players.

The Queen is on all the currency, notes and coins, all denominations. We don’t use the £50 note regularly. Many places won’t accept it. The £20 is the highest denomination used regularly.

My favorite team is Las Chivas de Guadalajara, Mexico.

I spend a lot of time in Guadalajara, and my home town team is a mediocre team in a mediocre league.
