Would have liked to, but this Dant is too shy... it was Bill Bryson, who turned up at Uni for a talk and spent the entire afternoon with us... he gave his talk and then answered questions for hours... he even stayed behind afterwards and sat in the canteen with us eating pizza... I did day 'Hello' and 'Thank You' Smile

I haven't read Lovecraft in 50 years, but I don't remember any racism in it. It's really horror writing, and at the time I had a serious night phobia, so I read a lot of horror stories. After I got over the phobia, I stopped reading horror stories.

You'd rather read a book than watch the movie adaption.

False, I knew a thatcher, it's a huge cost, thatch needs replacing every five years or so and it's a huge fire risk.

There is a village just outside of Winchester that has constantly been the subject of arson attacks, not to mention all the creepy crafties.
