@snood,
What about Washington Washouts? Sounds more like what's really going on over there. There weren't many Sentinels on Jan 6.

Drier than dry. 'Dry rat' is funnier than dry rot. This made me laugh a lot.

@Region Philbis,
The same here.
Somewhat recently, I saw an add with Kraken and maybe an octopus-like creature? I think it’s part of Scandinavian folklore/mythology.

But it sounds more Scandinavian or Icelandic - like the name of a beer or something, doesn't it? Or a jujitsu move.

@Ragman,
It’s a bit better known over here, John Wyndham who wrote Day of the Triffids also wrote The Kraken Wakes.

It’s also the name of a brand of rum that has been advertised on television.

@Mame,
People were posting possible names for the team. Thought I would throw in a couple.

Yeah, I got that, but just don't see how they relate to Washington.

@Mame,
Mackems.

That’s what they call people from Sunderland, just down the road from Washington Tyne and Wear, the place George was named after.

Didn't see Redskins relating either. Don't see Jazz relating to Utah.

@edgarblythe,

the Utah Jazz franchise originated in N'awlins.

they apparently decided it would be cheaper to keep the name when they moved...
