@JGoldman10,
Like a tie?

That’s a big arrow pointing at the genitals.

No. You’re the one doing that.

@izzythepush,
An extra long tie might cover the genitals. Would that be modest enough for Goldman?

There seems like there is a double standard as far as how fictional characters are dressed is concerned.

It seems like it's "okay" to have female characters wear skimpy, form-fitting and/or provocative attire - anything that draws attention to their chest, butts and crotch area, although some people do complain about that, especially if the characters are teenaged.

But if a male character wears anything drawing attention to his "man parts" people would call that offensive or obscene and protest.

@Sturgis,
Male characters in kids' cartoon shows are sometimes shown wearing boxers or briefs. How is that any different? That's not sexually suggestive.

@neptuneblue,
Yes, you're actually correct. There is more explicit porn in church paintings and sculptures. I took a course in the history of world art (I forgot the exact name of the course) in art school, and I've seen some of this stuff. Some of the stuff I saw was far too graphic for me to handle; it made me very unconfortable. I ended up dropping that course and taking another course in its place.

Cleo from the Catillac Cats had a shapely humanoid figure and was naked save for some legwarmers.

That female mouse from Rescue Rangers has a big cult following because she has a shapely design.

It's one thing to give any anthropomorphic female characters asthetically pleasing-looking humanoid female forms.

Sexualizing or sensualizing furries or anything anthropomorphic is a perversion. You're delving into weird territory when you do that because these characters aren't human.

I recall my mother said to me years ago that a you-know-what has no conscience.

@JGoldman10,
You’re expressing yourself as someone who is prurient.

You claim not to be interested in something you’ve started a thread on and devoted page after page to.

There’s nothing Christian about that.

@JGoldman10,
This thread is getting weird.

You have said you don't watch or draw anything rule 34, but you started a thread talking about rule 34 content.

You then start talking about furry drawings without any anyone here mentioning it. No one here even mentioned sexualized animal characters except you.

Enlighten me. What is a "you know what"? And why is your mother talking to you about this topic?

@Rebelofnj,
A penis. My mother was talking about a penis not having a conscience.

I wasn't just talking about animal characters, I was talking about anything anthropomorphic.

She talked to me about sexual perversion in art when I was in art school studying animation.

@izzythepush,
I took sex ed in public school thank you. She was talking to me about smut in cartoons because I was studying animation in art college. She was discussing it with me from a Christian standpoint. She was also talking about nudity in art from a Christian standpoint.

@JGoldman10,
Being obsessed with other people’s sex lives isn’t healthy. It’s a bit creepy.

This is why you have to deny having an Oedipus complex.

You’re as far from not being interested in sex as it’s possible to get.

Try thinking about something else for once.

@Rebelofnj,
Space Jam came out around the time I was in art school. As I said the original movie design for Lola Bunny was rather provocative. I recall my mother saw images of the character in a book I bought on the making of the movie. To paraphrase what she said she said a man would look at that character and think about having sex with that creature.

That's why she said a you-know-what has no conscience.
