What's the deal with Rule 34 material?

I don’t think an individual’s religion has any effect on how they view such material. Most people think such stuff to be a bit sick.

I don’t like hypocrisy.

Whenever you see someone doing something you think is immoral or wrong, you often quote Scripture, repeatedly mentioning that you are a Born Again Christian, and say you speak to your pastor or your mother (who is also a pastor) on a regular basis.

With that in mind, it is troubling you don't follow what you preach if you are seeking this content out, whether it is out of curiosity or not.

Most Christian groups I have seen would try to ban the content or at least ensure it cannot be accessed by children.

The first time I ever drew anything smutty was when I was in art school, but there was no nudity involved. I was experimenting - what I drew was one of those things to see if I could.

The stuff I drew was along the lines of Ixapter's cartoons.

You probably read this story before - I was on a bus commuting to or from art school, and I drew a pic of a bunch of sexy-looking female anthropomorphic cats swooning over a male anthropomorphic cat in a sketch pad. Some older women who were near me saw what I drew and they looked at me up and down. They were old enough to be my mother or aunts and they were probably church ladies. I felt ashamed of what I did so I closed my pad up and put it away. I haven't drawn any smutty stuff since then.
