I am really warming to Evan Rachel Wood...as Delores in Westworld.

She is pulling it off...in a series with two other major contenders for the title...Thandie Newton as Maeve and Tessa Thompson as Charlotte. Very, very strong female cast!

(I know. You don't watch it because you do not have Showtime.)

I don't have Showtime either but I can see it OK.

I don't know if she is a femme fatale as such because she's got such a long back story as a victim. Isn't Charlotte also Delores?

It seems to me that women are being condemned for doing what men are admired for doing--going out and getting what they want, and morality be damned. I liked Faye Dunaway in Chinatown, even though she proved to less fatale than is common in rilm noir. She certainly was all femme.

Yeah. Delores made (I think) 4 other Delores's...but the one played by Wood is hot as a bonfire. Actually, so are the actresses who play Charlotte and Maeve. And I think we can wiggle them into the femme fatale category.
