I'm trying to find a movie, for my own sanity more than anything and to prove I didn't dream it. All I can do is describe what I believe it was about and hope someone can help with the title. It's about I believe a reporter that I though was John Cusack maybe not, that finds Elvis living in a house with as I remember a butler, the guy that finds him friends Elvis and convinces him to sing again, there was a really catchy song and at the end Elvis gives the guy his sun glasses. Please tell.me this is a film and I'm not going insane as I have googled the hell out of it to no availe

There was a 1989 film Elvis Stories. It included John Cusack.

Yeah, I've seen that on my searches but it's not that, thank you for the reply, it's driving me crazy haha
