She thanked me,
And bade me if I had a friend that loved her,
I should but teach him how to tell my story
And that would woo her. Upon this hint I spake.
She loved me for the dangers I had passed,
And I loved her that she did pity them.

I am thy father's spirit,
Doom'd for a certain time to walk the night,
And for the day confined to fast in fires,
Till the foul crimes done in my days of nature
Are burnt and purg'd away. But that I am forbid
To tell the secrets of my prison-house
I could a tale unfold whose lightest word
would harrow up thy soul...

A tough, tough subject - you could just list about half the text of the plays and you would have nothing but quotes!

NH, Gala, and Mr Still, It was too bad you couldn't join us at the A2K London Gathering, because we met at the ye olde Cheshire Cheese, a pub frequented by Shakespeare and Dickens. You would have been in your "element" as it were. c.i.

Macbeth Act 5 Scene 3
"The devil damn thee black, thou cream-faced loon."
Not only a great Shakespearian quote, but also comes in very handy at parties. Someone jostles your drink. You turn in anger and shout,
'THE DEVIL DAMN THEE BLACK, THOU CREAM-FACED LOON!"

Ah, yes Shakespeare's hangouts - I thought you meant pubs. Just stand back for my Falstaff impression.

I've been thinking this over, and I don't recall ever using that particular phrase at any of the Black Panther parties I've attended over the last several decades. Judging by the opinions expressed on this thread, I believe I will refrain from using it at the next Black Panther function I attend.

A wise decision, Herr Ratzenhofer. You will definitely want to wear those medals at the next function, though. And make sure your mustache is properly waxed.
