I agree with you on that. But I also feel the need to say that religion is not all bad. Most religious people lead good lives according to the various holy books. Trouble starts when one good christian tries to make his neighbor a better christian too.

But all in all, religion is like breastmilk, it's meant to nurture our growth until it is no longer needed and we can stand on our own moral feet. That is why we need religion, so we can shed it.

i cant think of a single religion thats bad.


i can however think of the followers of many religions that are bad in as much as they go to great lengths to convery the others to their own system of belief, failing which they sometimes even try to wipe the others out of the earth.

ask any jew.
