Happy Dr. King's Birthday 2020! Doing anything special for the holiday?

Hi. Happy Dr. King's Birthday! Are you doing anything special for the holiday?

I don't know specifically what people do to celebrate and/or observe the holiday. My family and I usually watch documentaries, specials and or films about Dr. King and his legacy and/or the Civil Rights movement in America.

I am not really doing anything special. As I mentioned in a few other recent threads I still have a lot of housework to do.

What about you? Are you doing anything special for the holiday?

I am curious. Please help. Thank you.holidays

He was a pivotal figure in the civil rights movement and until recently I had nothing but good things to say about him.

His reputation, like that of Ghandi, has taken a bit of a knock since details about his attitude towards women came out.

Lots of fallen idols out there, Churchill is another one similarly full of contradictions. He beat Hitler but his treatment of India was appalling.

Just came from the NY Bloodcenter. Donated whole blood.

At 2:00PM, will be seeing the Oscar nominated documentary, The Cave (2019).
