I always get Mel Gibson and Mel Brooks mixed up . . . which one is the clown? I mean, intentionally . . .

There's been some work on merging the two, precisely to avoid such confusion. The result is very painful for Mr. Gibson, and subsequently also for Mr. Brook, as the former lashes the latter with a scourge.

They often put friends' names in random places -- they recently had some "infographic" with a tombstone that had our friend's name on it (he's known the Onion guys forever, went to high school with a couple of 'em or something.)
