Batch Editing HTML files

I have an insane amount of HTML files to edit. I think around 200 or so, and the task is getting increasingly tedious, because it's always replacing specific instances of code that appear in every file.

I've heard there's a way to batch edit HTML files. Would somebody please tell me how and with what program and where I can find the necessary resources? I've tried searching Google, but I keep coming up with this commercial stuff that I can't possibly afford on my budget.

I use PowerGrep or EditPad.

There is a free version of EditPad that you can use to do this.

macromedia homesite has a good search and replace function that will look through project folders. So does dreamweaver if you're into wysiwyg editors.

you can download a trial of homesite from macromedia's website.

Thanks guys for the help. I've already downloaded Editpad Lite, which works a treat.

Now if only I could get my mouse to work...
