Giant bird stop motion

I saw a movie a long time ago. A scene I remember is a giant bird arrives at a princess's bedroom entrance. It carries her away I believe. It was like a Jason and the Argonauts movie...a fantasy film. I remember also the bird in some cave with its master. It's master and the bird were the villains. Does anybody remember this movie?

It sounds like a film by Ray Harryhausen. It certainly rings a bell, one of the Sinbad films perhaps.

He did a lot of those sort of films as well as Sinbad there's Clash of the Titans and a film about Jack the giantkiller.

I'm sure if you google him you should find something.

I think it's most likely the 7th voyage of Sinbad, that mentions a Roc which is the name of the giant bird.

I've looked on youtube, and although the scene is cut with a computer game it looks right.
