and since my parents and family don't think i am fat, they won't take me to the doctor! they make fun of me for trying a diet!
sometimes i jog my side starts to hurt bad
When was the last time you had a complete physical?
the beggining of the school year, so i could play volleyball
Try jogging around the hill 5 times. If you dont want to do that, walk it with 5 or 10 pound dumbells in each hand. Or you could walk and do 20 to 30 second sprints every 5 minutes.
Also, 20 situps every other day is nothing. Try doing 60 a day at least. Do 20, rest for 1 minute, do 20 more rest 1 mintue and so on.
You have to raise the intensity of your excercises, and for longer durations. A person your age should be able to push their heart rate up to at least 200 a minute without any problems.
The kit kat probably isnt much of a factor. Soda is the main culprit for most kids, you should avoid it. Fruits have lots of simple sugars in them so eat them in moderation and take vitamins if youre concerned about nutrients.
Instigate's schedule of sit-ups seems a bit extreme for a female of your age.
This thread has a lot of helpful information for sensible weight loss.

One suggestion to assist in a flatter abdomen,
not TOO many sit-ups, but small meals at a time. Gorging the stomach with huge amounts of food at one time-- because you have allowed yourself to become too hungry-- stretches the organs in there plus the total measurement of the abdomen.
Eating enough (while eating small) is simple, if one has the time and opportunity to do it. Just plan for 6 or 7 times a day to eat a small amount, and be sure to have plenty of water/low calorie fluids in between. In my small meals, I avoid white bread and buns- and only include rice, rye, and other whole grains.
(Some of my meals: [1] one medium apple. [2] 6 or 7 walnut nut meats with a cup of warm tea. [3] a bowl of homemade soup: beans, grated carrots, onion, garlic, made with chicken or beef bullion.
(there are so MANY more ideas, check menus on the internet, also calorie pages and recipes.)
*sigh* There is no way you are fat, so get that out of your head. Eveyone gets rolls when they sit, unless you are too skinny.
You might not be completely toned and tightened so my suggestion is cardio with strength training. Cardio is any activity that gets your heartrate up. Running, jogging, biking, speed walking, jumping rope, whatever. Start with a 5-10 minute stretch of all your muscles and then go into a 20-30 minute cardio workout 3 times a week. Strength training is not just building up your muscles but it's also toning them. You won't get built doing strength training....you will get toned. After your cardio, do either upper or lower body strength training for 30-40 minutes. Don't do both upper and lower on the same day, alternate days. Like Monday do upper, Wednesday do lower, Friday do upper, Monday do lower, but do your cardio every day.
Re: How could I lose weight?
1. The first to thing you have to know is what food is good and what provides carbohydrates, which are the first source of fat.
2. Plan what you are going to eat every day (7 days in advanced)
3. Exercise (you do not have to exercise like a pro, since you are 13)
4. Set goals (weekly)
Knowing what food is good for you then you have to plan what to eat, like you were un the army, for example:
Breakfast: 1 egg, a glass of orange juice and 2 glasses of water.
Lunch: Try eat fish, chicken or steak, 1 piece (no more) and water
Dinner: Try steak, veggies and fruit.
** Drink water like it is the end of the world. Try to do the same diet for one week, and you will see the difference. Get your weight everyday, so you will now how it is working, if it does not change then it means you need to exercise and get tougher in your diet, if it changes then that's your motivation. Do not listen those guys, saying do not check the scale every day, that will depress you
. Those are just a bunch of losers who do not want to see how fat they are every day.
Your exercise should be focus to burn fat not reducing your stomach. The first rule is , after 20 minutes of exercise is when you start burning fat, whatever you do for the first 20 minutes is just warm up. If you are going to walk, walk for 30 minutes.
If you do not want to walk, then at home and an easy way to start exercising is steps, buy those steps and do 50 first, right-foot up, left-foot up then right-foot down, left-foot down, if you want you can have 3 series (150 total) that will make you sweat good and it is going to start helping you to move your feet and want to start jogging. Walking is for lazy people who invent reasons to take the exercise easy. They claim there are studies that jogging is not good, believe me, look al the people walking, after 3 months they are the same fatsos eating rolls and pudding every night thinking, I exercise
nope jogging for at least 20 minutes will help you, but you need to start losing some weight before jogging then as soon as you start , maybe 20 minutes will be too much, but that is the starting point when you pass the 20 minutes, you will have 5 pounds less and you will evolve with some other type of training, like push-ups, sit-ups, etc. but first lose some weight naturally, you are 13, you do not need to go to the gym.
And of course, stop eating those rolls, when you are about to eat them, just think
.. "they laugh of me, they do not believe I can reduce
.I will be laughing later of them
..", and best of all, they will be jealous that you are in better shape
.do not listen people saying "walk" that is for lazy people.
Simple - It is normal for young girls to go through a stage where their torso seems to compact. This usually happen right before you start to get a waist and fuller breasts. Usually the breasts start to grow a little, but the waist seems to thicken. I think in about a year you will find you tummy is slimmer and you will have more of what we call an hour glass figure. Make sure you eat properly to keep your body in a healthy condition while you go through this growth stage. By the way, you will not usually gain weight during this period - it just moves around.
