D2 considers bots to be cheating. If they discover it, your account will be terminated and the serial number of your program will be blocked from connecting.

Most bots you get online are actually phishing programs. They aren't intended to work but instead send your account name and password to someone so they can steal it and any items you may have accumulated. Some are also key loggers and will attempt to steal all the passwords for all your accounts.

That being said, Diablo has done several revisions to prevent bots from working. You may have an out of date bot.

I would suggest you run virus software, eliminate any viruses or trojan horses and then change the passwords on all your accounts.
