Okay, C.J. Never buy oysters unless the month has an "R" in it. I was just going along with the religious bit from the Christian bible. " He is not here, he is risen."

What?, JL

Well, I have to attend to my fish, folks. <smile>

But actually, CJ, the real (the philosophical) answer to the question of why you are here must also be an answer to the question of why ANYTHING is here.

Viagra can cause blindness. Better to use yeast or a balloon.

answer that

the only answer will be yours; since there is absolutely no reason for our existence here, and now, the only reason is the one that you personally give it.

[and if you have to adopt a reason from some group, creed, or external reference, you have given up your personal autonomy over that choice, and it is for nothing!]

I'm not sure about being here. But if being here constitutes life, then that's why I'm here. I can't say there is a point to life; and, by the same token, I can't say that life is pointless. I guess I'm here because I don't know where else I could be.

I'm not sure about the "roaring Lyon," cause he died when I was 2.

Hi Luscious Lips letty,

Oh you pretty thing, don't you know your mama and papa they.............

Talk about late nights! I find it perfectly understandable that more of us specimen creatures are created in the winter months. Sex should be enjoyed for hours. You couldn't do that working manually until this time of night.

I reckon my creation was the result of sexual desire.
So they both must have felt in pretty good form at the time. That's good to know.

Has anyone heard of the Zen story about a person standing on a hill?

People see him standing on a hill, and they ask each other why the person is standing on the hill. One person says that he's looking for something, while another person says that he must be enjoying the atmosphere. Anyways, they decided to ask the person.
"Why are you standing on the hill?" they asked.
"I'm just standing."
