What's your favorite Tim Burton movie quote?
Mine would have to be, "Is this something you can share with the rest of us, Amazing Larry?" from Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
Well, welcome to A2K and the film forum.
"From Ed Wood," Johhny Depp:
Edward D. Wood, Jr.: My girlfriend still doesn't know why her sweaters are always stretched out.
So many...
Always liked: "Ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight?"
Jack Nicholsen as The Joker in "Batman" and there's a good collection there!
The Joker: Haven't you ever heard of the healing power of laughter?
The Joker: I've been dead once already; it's very liberating. You might think of it as... therapy.
The Joker: I have given a name to my pain, and it is Batman.
Joker: Hello, Vinny. It's your Uncle Bingo. Time to pay the check!
Another good one:
Bela Lugosi: Pull the string! Pull the string!
From "Ed Wood."
Bela Lugosi: This is the most uncomfortable coffin I've ever been in.
and
Orson Welles: Visions are worth fighting for. Why spend your life making someone else's dreams?
Methinks "Ed Wood" has the most quotable quotes.
Methinks you are probably right, though "Pee Wee" would be a close second.
From Batman,The Joker; "This town needs a enema!"
And from PeeWee's Big Adventure; "Tell'em Large Marge sent ya"
from "Big Fish:
Senior Ed Bloom: There's a time when a man needs to fight, and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny is lost... the ship has sailed and only a fool would continue. Truth is... I've always been a fool.
Two from Beetle Juice:
Otho: Don't mind her. She's still upset because somebody dropped a house on her sister.
Betelgeuse: Let's turn on the juice and see what shakes loose.
I've used the house falling on her sister zinger a few times! Of course, maybe or maybe not so surprisingly, some do not get it!
Big Fish:
Senior Ed Bloom: The Milk Man dropped dead on our front porch. Turns out my mama was banging the Milk Man.
