How many of you know that in Florida small claims courts, unless you have a pocket of money, it is up to the criminal to decide whether or not to meet his/her/it's responsibilities regardless of judges orders-We are using a law from the 1700's to protect them- no debtors prisons-Evidently there isn't high enough intellegence in the legal system to figure that a permanant and unremovable 'braclet' be applied untill the debt is paid-And can be monitored via satellite-

This is not unique to Florida: there are no debtor's prisons anywhere in the US. And frankly, that's a good thing. If being unable to pay one's debts were a crime, half of all Americans would be in prison.

Looks like fla isn't the only ones being short in the stick-hard to teach kids responsibilities while promoting freeloading and not paying a bill owed is the same as theft, and should be able to act on it as such
