I suppose it's probably a stupid idea to try "abi"s uninstall program to get rid of aurora.. it looks awfully suspect. i'm sure many people have already asked how to get rid of aurora, so if you could point me toward a relevant post, i'd appreciate it.
maybe i should just smash this computer and buy a new one, eh?
aurora
hi
i have just been infected with this adaware/spyware what ever it is and its taken me all day to get the better of it(or so it seems so far) i even bought a program called xoftspy which bragged that it would get rid of it which it did till you reboot then it regenerates (what a waste of money) but lucky for me i had regcleaner so i ran its tools separately at first there was no joy but then i ran the tools all at once which has appeared to have killed it but this does have its down side some other miner programs may be affected but they were easily repaired.at the moment i am monitoring the situation to see if this has indeed got rid of this pest if so i will let you know in the next few days so that if you have regcleaner you can do this aswell but as i say this was the last desperate attempt before i was going to get a full reinstallation.
